The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Ozarks.
Areas north of Greene County can expect 1-2 inches of snow with winds gusting over 35 miles per hour until at least 6 p.m. tonight.
Greene County and neighboring counties can expect mixed precipitation with snow accumulations of up to one inch. A thin layer of ice is also possible for the area with winds gusting as high as 40 miles per hour.
For all areas bridges and elevated surfaces will likely become ice and snow covered before other surfaces and roadways are going to be slippery. There will be limited visibility for drivers.
Drivers are advised to use caution if you have to be on the roads, and are advised to avoid driving unless necessary.
