A millennial musical comedy team from New York is in Springfield for one night only.
Springfield Contemporary Theatre is hosting “Peter, Paul & Carly” for their midwest debut tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the center stage for SCT, 302 East Pershing Street in the Wilhoit Plaza.
The show features the three roommates, who always seem to be wearing berets and black turtlenecks, are wanting to perform their show, “The Show.” Unfortunately for them, a series of events out of their control keep them from performing “The Show”, yet they always seem to find time to break into song about the crazy twists and turns of their life.
Two of the performers, Paul and Carly, have connection to Missouri State’s Musical Theatre program. The show recently completed a sold out residency at New York City’s Duplex Cabaret Theatre.
The show will feature special guests Static and the Airwaves.
Tickets are $17 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, with a $10 student rush just before showtime.
