Missouri State Looking for Help Finding Car Thieves

Missouri State University is asking for the public’s help in finding some men suspected of being connected to a car theft on October 22nd and an attempted theft on October 29th.

According to an MSU safety and crime alert, on October 22nd, 2019, a student discovered their car parked in Lot 31 (east of Juanita K. Hammons Hall) was missing. The vehicle had been locked and left in that lot on October 18th.

On October 29th, a student reported their vehicle had been broken into and the ignition tampered with while parked in Bear Park North.

Springfield police are investigating the incidents.
