Two women had to be rescued by Taney County emergency crews after falling down an embankment at a scenic overlook in Forsyth.
Center Taney County Fire Department officials say a 36-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl fell down a cliffside after ignoring a guardrail while sightseeing.
Water rescue crews had to work to assist in the woman’s rescue.
The 36-year-old woman’s injuries were serious enough to require helicopter transport to a nearby hospital. She was reportedly in moderate condition.
