Drury Volleyball Stays Unbeaten in GLVC

The Drury Panthers won their fifth straight game to start their Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule with a 3-1 win at Southwest Baptist in Bolivar, Missouri on Tuesday.

Drury cruised to a 25-13 win in the opening set, but the Bearcats responded with a 25-22 win in the second set. The Panthers won the next two sets 25-19 and picked up their ninth win in their last 10 games.

Julia McCown led the Panthers with 14 kills while Taylor Forth had one solo block and six block assists. Paige Perry picked up 18 digs while Gabby Birmingham had 27 assists and two service aces.

Rebecca Rabius led Southwest Baptist with 14 kills.

Drury returns home later this week and hosts William Jewell at Weiser Gym for a 7 pm game on Thursday.
