Victory Mission Seeking Donations for Women’s Drop In Center

The Victory Mission recently announced their women’s drop-in center had been remodeled thanks to the efforts of a local church group, and now they’re seeking the public’s help in filling in that space.

The Drop In Center, which originally was open for a few hours on one day, is now open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. offering services from group support discussions to showers & laundry.

The organization has asked on social media for a number of items to fill out the space and allow them to continue to expand and enhance their services:

Large area rug
Overstuffed Chairs (new or like new)
Sectional couch (new or like new)
Desk (small)
Lamps (table & floor)
Toilet brushes (3)
Side table (to set mini fridge on)
Place mats (can be wiped down)
Puzzles
Kids’ toys
Pillows (new)
Twin mattresses (4)
Classroom Tables (lightweight/movable – 4)
Hard plastic chairs (20)
Full length mirror
Bulletin Board
Heavy Duty Metal Shelving (to put crates on)
Twin sheet sets
Twin comforter
Board games
