Sunday Concert Benefits Poverty Fighting Organizations

A concert Sunday night will raise funds for local organizations who fight homelessness and poverty.

Rock The House will take place starting at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, September 22, at Brentwood Christian Church. The concert will benefit The Kitchen/The Rare Breed, Eden Village, Harmony House, OACAC, and Victory Mission.

Tickets will be $20 at the door.

Performers include: Kim Crosby, Ron Butler, Greg Austin, Emily Bowen-Marler, Garage Door Envy, Greg Burris, Robert Reed, The Foggy River Boys, David Savage, Jimmy Frink, and Bruce Murrell.

The concert will also host a silent auction with the proceeds also benefiting the chosen charities. The silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m..

The church is located at 1900 E. Barataria Street in Springfield. Childcare for babies & toddlers will be provided.
