Springfield Woman Appointed to State Mental Health Commission

Governor Mike Parson announced the appointment of a Springfield woman to the state’s Mental Health Commission.

Teresa Coyan, Vice President of Public Affairs for CoxHealth, will be joining the commission. She works as the liaison between CoxHealth and local, state, and federal officials.

In addition to her work with CoxHealth, Coyan serves as a chairwoman for the Springfield Chamber of Commerce’s Governmental Relations Committee, and as a board member for the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools and the Discovery Center of Springfield.

Coyan earned a Bachelor’s degree from Missouri State and Master’s degree from Webster University.
