Victory Mission “Victory Ride” Marks 25th Anniversary

Springfield Victory Mission announced their 25th Annual Victory Ride for Saturday, October 5, 2019, starting at 10 a.m. with registration starting at 9 a.m..

The motorcycle ride, which takes riders on a 40 to 50 mile cruise through the Ozarks countryside, will end up on Commercial Street for the first “Cruise-In” partnership with the C-Street City Market. The Cruise-In is open to all vehicles, not just motorcycles.

“It’s exciting to see 417 businesses rally in support of what we do,” Mindy McClaskey, Marketing & Special Events Coordinator, said in a statement. “We are meeting people with authentic intentional relationships, and they are recognizing value and purpose in their lives as they begin to understand their significant role in the community.”

The event raises funds to provide nights in the shelter for the homeless in the community. Men from the Victory Mission’s Restoration Program will be on-site at the event to share stories of how the funds raised by previous Rides helped save and change lives.

The event has a $15,000 goal which would cover 1,000 shelter nights.

More information about the event is available on the Victory Ride website.
