Nationally syndicated Springfield based television show The Mystery Hour announced the guests for their season premiere taping August 24th and it features an actor from a beloved children’s movie.
Chauncey Leopardi, who played Squints Palledorous in the movie “The Sandlot”, will be the featured guest in the premiere taping for season nine of the show.
“I think everyone loved The Sandlot from childhood,” said host Jeff Houghton. “So it’s going to be fun to hear some stories from Chauncey and hear about what he’s up to now.”
The show at the Gillioz Theatre will feature three tapings of the show. The other main guests for the night will include Orlando Leyba, nationally touring comedian, and Landon Nichols, an 8-year-old golfer who was in the U.S. Kids Golf Foundation World Championship.
There will also be music by Natchigal, Pure Elegance, and Devlin Pierce.
The four time Mid-America Emmy winning show has expanded to broadcast in 17 television markets across the United States including Tulsa, Kansas City, and Charlotte.
Tickets are available online for the season premiere taping via the Mystery Hour website. Tickets are $12 online and $14 at the door if the show does not sell out in advance.
