The man who walked into a south Springfield Walmart location with guns is going to be released from the Greene County Jail after a judge set bond conditions.
Dmitriy Andreychenko, 20, was expected to be released from the jail by Monday afternoon after Judge Mark Powell set his bond at $10,000. Powell also ordered that all guns be taken from Andreychenko’s home and he is prohibited from any contact with firearms.
Andreychenko was arrested Thursday after walking into the Walmart Neighborhood Market with a tactical rifle, handgun, and at least 100 rounds of ammunition. He reportedly told police that he wanted to see “if Walmart honored the second amendment.”
Andreychenko is facing a preliminary hearing on September 16. He is being represented by attorney Dee Wampler.
