Someone new is overseeing the funding for the Greene County Democrats.
The Central Committee announced that Tyler Gunlock (photo left, with House Minority Leader Crystal Quade) has been elected as the party treasurer. Gunlock was elected to replace Mike Miller, who resigned the position.
“We are excited for the addition of Tyler to our leadership team.” Greene County Democrats Executive Director Skyler Johnston said in a statement. “He has a wonderful work ethic, humorous demeanor, and a true passion to help Democrats get elected. He is going to serve the Greene County Democrats well.”
Gunlock will fill the remainder of Miller’s term, ending in August 2020. Gunlock will be eligible for re-election should he want a full term.
Gunlock ran for the 130th District seat in the Missouri House in 2018, losing to incumbent Republican Jeff Messenger. Gunlock is a cattle farmer in the Ash Grove area.
