Evangel University has announced an agreement with a local Christian school to benefit students, faculty and staff that wish to enroll at Evangel.
The deal with Grace Classical Academy is similar to an agreement Evangel made in May with New Covenant Academy. Students at Grace will be able to obtain a minimum 50 percent discount on tuition if they enroll in a traditional undergraduate program. Students will also be able to access the University’s dual and concurrent enrollment programs.
“We share a common mission with Grace, by providing a rigorous education in a Christian atmosphere,” Chris Belcher, vice president for enrollment management at Evangel, said in a statement. “And like New Covenant Academy, whose partnership was announced in May, Grace students consistently perform at a high level and have been among our brightest students.”
Grace Classical Academy currently has just over 200 students from preschool to 12th grade.
“Grace Classical Academy strives to train students to serve the Lord in whatever He calls them to do,” Jennifer Morris, assistant headmaster, said in a statement. “What a joy it will be for more of our students to be able to graduate from here and go to a place that shares that vision!”
Evangel will also waive the application fee and offer 10 percent discounts on tuition to Grace faculty, staff and students enrolling in online undergraduate classes or a master’s degree program.
“This is a great option for adults who want to complete their degree or are considering an advanced degree,” Mark Fabian, director of digital learning, said in a statement. “Plus, it helps Grace retain quality staff and faculty. We are excited for the chance to contribute to the future of GCA by educating and equipping their greatest resource — their leaders, teachers and staff.”
