Community Partnership of the Ozarks Hosts “Big Rig Night”

Kids of all ages went wild in the parking lot of the Battlefield Mall Tuesday night as Community Partnership of the Ozarks hosted “Big Rig Night.”

The event brought out heavy equipment and emergency vehicles from across the region to give kids the opportunity to explore the big machines.

Kids were able to set off sirens, activate lights and operate other parts of a wide variety of machines from tow trucks to concrete mixers to an ambulance. Operators of the machines and area first responders also interacted with the kids and answered questions about their careers.

Community Partnership of the Ozarks reported over 5,700 people attended the event.
