Lost & Found Grief Center Receives Major Donation

Local grief support organization Lost & Found has received a major donation from a St. Louis based foundation.

Mid-America Transplant Foundation has given $100,000 to Lost & Found to help them continue to provide free therapeutic grief support groups for children and adults.

“Mid-America Transplant Foundation is pleased to partner with Lost & Found Grief Center to serve families healing through professional grief support,” Mid-America Director of Family and Donor Support Services Nicole Kellen said in a statement.

Lost & Found reported that over 350 individuals attend 90-minute grief support groups that are held at the Grief Center.

“We are very appreciative of our partnership with Mid-America Transplant Foundation. They take such special care of families who have given the gift of life through organ and tissue donation, and we are honored to be able to help support their efforts with donor families. Mid-America’s generosity has been instrumental in the growth of Lost & Found programs, assisting us in becoming a comprehensive grief

center.”
