Anyone interested in the future development of the Galloway area along Lone Pine Avenue has one last chance to sound off to the city at an open-house style meeting tonight.
The third and final public meeting to gather input on priorities for development in the area will take place at All Saints Anglican Church, 2751 E. Galloway Street, starting at 5:30 p.m..
City staff are scheduled to be in attendance to hear from residents regarding increased retail or residential multi-family developments in the region. The recommendations will be considered by the city’s Planning and Development staff who will present recommendations to City Council at their July 23, 2019 Council Lunch.
The process began last fall when Zone 4 Councilman Matthew Simpson requested via resolution an administrative delay in the area to gain feedback from residents about development. The moratorium on development in the area expires August 2.
Tonight’s event will take place until 7 p.m..
