Both sides battled back and forth throughout the game, but the Tulsa
Drillers (10-8, 47-40) plated three in the sixth to come from behind for
the 6-4 win against the Springfield Cardinals (7-11, 37-51) on Monday

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED:
-The Cardinals struck first with two runs in the second on an RBI sac fly by LHP Evan Kruczynski and a two-out RBI single from CF Scott Hurst.
-The Drillers responded with three runs in the bottom of the second, striking with RBI singles from CF Logan Landon, RHP Edwin Uceta and SS Omar Estevez for the 3-2 lead.
-An RBI double by SS Rayder Ascanio in the top of the fourth brought home 3B Yariel Gonzalez to tie it at 3-3 for Springfield.
-Gonzalez then struck in the top of the sixth, plating C Brian O’Keefe from second with an RBI double to left field, lifting the Cardinals into the 4-3 lead.
-Tulsa, though, responded right away once again. In the bottom of the sixth, a pinch-hit RBI double by RF Cody Thomas tied it, followed by RBI singles from 3B Zach McKinstry and 1B Cristian Santana to swing the Drillers ahead, 6-4.
-One night after driving in all four of Springfield’s runs, 3B Yariel Gonzalez went 2×3 with an RBI double, a base hit, a walk and two runs. He has either driven in or scored eight of Springfield’s last nine runs on the trip.
-SS Rayder Ascanio went 2×4 with an RBI double and has hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games, reaching base safely in all 11.
-CF Scott Hurst went 1×4 with an RBI single and a walk, notching an RBI in his second straight game.
-RHP Bryan Dobzanski tossed a pair of hitless and scoreless innings in the seventh and eighth to keep Springfield close.
