The Army Corps of Engineers announced Monday night they will opening all the spillways at Table Rock Dam starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday.
The five gates will open about a foot each.
The combined release of water will be about 10,500 cubic feet of water per second from the gates. The release is connected to ongoing efforts to manage water collected during heavy spring rain.
While the lake is just below the “power pool level” of 917 feet, heavy rain along the White River is causing higher than normal water to flow into the lake.
