Ozarks Independent Comes to Your Radio Next Week

Ozarks Independent will be coming to a radio near you starting next week.

OI Publisher Jason Wert will be hosting Morningline on 560 AM/93.3 FM KWTO starting Tuesday, June 18th. The talk show will focus on local news and events in a very similar manner to the news you see daily here on OI. The show will have more of a regional scope, due to the size of the station’s signal, but will aim to keep the focus on covering things in our area that make a difference in people’s lives.

The first show will feature guests including Greene County Commissioner Harold Bengsch during the 6 a.m. hour and Springfield Mayor Ken McClure during the 7 a.m. hour. Listeners will be able to call in with questions to be a part of the show.

The show will looking to book guests from all over southwest Missouri who are making a difference in our communities. If you are part of a non-profit organization with an event coming up, if you’re having a fundraiser for a school or other charity, we want to know about it!

The map below shows the coverage area for KWTO on the AM band. If your community is within the red area, you’ll have priority for having your events on the show and to possibly get an invitation to be an in-studio guest. If you have an event you would like us to know about, email us at radio@ozarksindependent.com.

We hope you’ll join us on KWTO 560 AM/93.3 FM beginning Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 6 to 8 a.m..
