City of Branson Hosting Responsible Alcohol Selling Class

The City of Branson is hosting a class on “Responsible Alcohol Selling” on Thursday morning.

The training is free and will run from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the City Hall Council Chambers.

The training is a mandatory class for anyone who wishes to work in Branson at an establishment that sells alcoholic beverages. This includes managers, servers, bartenders and cashiers. It’s also required for anyone seeking a liquor license.

The class is provided by the Community Partnership of the Ozarks.

The class’s intent is to create “responsible sellers” of alcohol, to help minimize the risk of alcohol being served to minors or to those who are already intoxicated. While designed for the City of Branson’s training requirements, servers and cashiers from surrounding communities are allowed to attend the event.
