The Gillioz theatre is going to spend one Saturday in July in a galaxy, far, far, away.
The theatre announced a special one-day “Star Wars Saturday” event where they will show the original three movies in a marathon.
Tickets for the special event will go on sale Friday, May 31, at noon.
In addition to showing the classic films, the theatre will be holding a costume contest (banning masks), raffles and other activities themed around the movies.
The event will feature the “Vader VIP Experience” for $50. That will give the holder access to all three movies, a commemorative laminate and access to The Gallery where matinee snacks and an evening meal between the second and third film will be served. Those VIP passes will be a “limited supply.”
A pass to see all three movies is $25, individual films $10.
Star Wars: A New Hope begins at noon, Empire Strikes Back at 3 p.m. and Return of the Jedi at 7:30 p.m.. The Gillioz will be clearing the theatre between each movie, and they will not allow anyone to hold seats. All seats are general admission.
