Donate Food, Get A Springfield Cardinals Ticket for One Dollar

The Springfield Cardinals are giving fans a chance to see their Tuesday, May 28, 2019 home game against the Tulsa Drillers for just one dollar with the donation of a non-perishable food item.

The team is partnering with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield to hold the food drive to benefit Ozarks Food Harvest, which provides food to 270 hunger-relief organizations in 28 counties. Over 30,000 individuals weekly get food from an Ozarks Food Harvest related facility.

Currently, the food bank is most in need of:

Tuna or other canned meat

Peanut butter

Beans, soups or stews

Boxed meals, rice and pasta

Canned fruit and vegetables

Cereal

If you wish to donate in advance, you can bring items to the Springfield Cardinals Front Office at Hammons Field between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. You can also bring your donations to the park on Tuesday, May 28th.

The game is also $1 hot dog day, so it is a great opportunity for families to experience a Springfield Cardinals game at a discount.
