All nine of the Ozark High School students part of the Technology Education Association of Missouri (TEAM) program all earned high honors at the TEAM State Contest in Osage Beach.
Ozark TEAM members Trenton Crisp, McKenna Kelsey, Max Johnson, Tori Freeman, Sean McKiernan, Trevor Long, Tyler Evans, Kaylea Robertson and Nick Blomquist all earned “1” ratings for their projects, the highest rating a student can receive for their projects.
The projects for each student were in the following categories:
- Architectural Drafting – Brittney Shearin, McKenzie McCormick, Sean McKiernan, Trevor Long, Kevin Cummins, Andrew Marshall, Umama Oishi, McKenna Kelsey
- Mechanical Drafting – Tyler Evans and Trenton Crisp
- Woodworking – Kaylea Robertson, Max Johnson, Tori Freeman, Nick Blomquist, Bowyn Ziebarth, Adam Base and Gavin Base
McKiernan, Johnson and Blomquist were given a “Grand Award” for their projects, indicating they were the best in the state of Missouri. McKiernan and Long also won a Grand Award in the CAD Shoot-out at the expo.
