Second Suspect Arrested in Lois Street Shooting

Springfield police have arrested a second man in connection with an April 28, 2019 shooting at 722 West Lois Street.

Cortell Scott, 30, from Springfield was arrested Thursday May 16 following a stand-off at 2150 South Ingram Mill Road. Scott is in the Greene County Jail without bond facing charges of 1stDegree Assault, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and two counts of Armed Criminal Action.

On the day of the incident, police arrested Deandre Walls. Walls is also in the Greene County Jail without bond and facing charges of 1st Degree Assault, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Armed Criminal Action, 1st Degree Burglary and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
