CM Punk Body Slams The Mystery Hour Saturday Night

The Mystery Hour will be on the ropes for the season finale Saturday night when former WWE legend CM Punk will be a guest.

Punk will be joined as guests by Modern Family actress Dana Powell and Missouri State Men’s Basketball coach Dana Ford.

During a 15-year professional wrestling career, Punk was known for his “straight edge” persona, rejecting alcohol or drugs and at one point maintaining an almost Christ-like persona to spur audience reaction. He won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship three time, WWE Championship twice, WWE Money in the Bank in 2008 & 2009 along with being a Triple Crown Champion.

After a fallout with WWE in 2014, Punk retired from wrestling and began a career in MMA. He’s fought two bouts for UFC, losing one by submission and one by unanimous decision.

Dana Powell is best known as “Pameron” on the monster hit TV series Modern Family. Powell, a Hillcrest grad, has also made appearances in Bridesmaids, Brainstorm and Emily’s Reasons Why Not. This is her second appearance on the Mystery Hour.

Dana Ford is the head coach of the Missouri State Men’s basketball program. He helped a Missouri State team that was thin on depth because of transfer issues to a third place finish in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Tickets to the season finale taping are $12 and available through the Mystery Hour website.
