Some of Springfield’s most well known events will have someone new at the helm.
The Downtown Springfield Association announced the hiring of Jennifer Moseley as the organizations’ new events manager. Moseley will oversee DSA’s major events: Artsfest, Cider Days, Rated SGF, Taste of SoMo and the Springfield Christmas Parade.
“We are excited that Jennifer will bring a wealth of event planning experience to our team, combined with a family connection to one of Downtown Springfield’s longest-running businesses — Moseley’s Discount Office Furniture,” Rusty Worley, DSA executive director, said in a statement. “She grew up helping her parents and brothers in the store and has returned to Springfield to be a leader in the next chapter of downtown’s rich history.”
Moseley’s most recent position has been travel director for Affinity Worldwide and has more than a decade’s experience in event planning including eight years with Dairy Farmers of America.
