Springfield advertising agency Mostly Serious has been given a serious honor by the Springfield Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber named the agency the 2019 W. Curtis Strube Small Business of the Year at the annual Small Business Luncheon.
“Over the past two years, we’ve worked hard to improve our business by crafting core values that guide every decision we make,” the company posted on their Facebook page in regards to the award. “We’ve introduced new services to support the needs of our clients, from marketing strategies and brand development to video production. And we’ve been intentional about asking difficult questions and facing vital truths that allow each of our team members—and our company as a whole—to improve each day. We think that hard work has allowed us to make the leap from a good company to a great company. This award means so much to our team.”
Mostly Serious has won numerous awards for their work, including winning 5 Addy Awards in 2019 for their work with Burrell Behavioral Health and others.
The other finalists for the award included Air Services Heating and Cooling & All Service Plumbing; ESC, Inc. Consulting Engineers; Loehr Chiropractic & Acupuncture; and The Coffee Ethic.
The award is named after Dr. W. Curtis Strube, director of the Breech School of Business Administration at Drury University.
