Something Rotten! Actor Performing Free Comedy Show Wednesday Night

Benson, a New Hampshire native who claims her two labradoodles are very supportive of her career choices, has been performing stand-up shows in the cities where the tour of the Tony-Award nominated musical Something Rotten! has taken her. (The show is performing through Thursday at Juanita K. Hammons Hall at Missouri State.)

The show at Blue Room Comedy Club inside Billiards at the intersection of St. Louis and Kimbrough next to the Shrine Mosque will take place at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night and tickets are free if you get them in advance through the Blue Room’s website.

Appetizers, dinner and drinks will be available to order from the Billiard’s menu during the show.

Benson’s Wednesday show kicks off a full weekend at Blue Room Comedy Club with Open Mic Night Thursday, Dwight Simmons Friday & Saturday and Open Mic Night on Sunday night.
