Springfield police are still looking for the second possible gunman in a shooting that took place just after 11 p.m. Sunday night.
Police were called to the 700 block of Lois Street after receiving 911 calls of shots being fired in the area.
Police say that the victim was shot multiple times and was in critical condition in a local hospital but expected to survive. They also say the victim and his attackers knew each other.
After bringing in a K9 unit, police found one of the two gunmen and recovered a weapon.
The second gunman is still at large as of Monday morning. Any resident with information on the gunman’s location is asked to call the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810.
