The Victim Center held their 24th annual Breakfast of Hope Thursday morning at the White River Conference Center in the Springfield.
The event, a fundraiser for the victim’s assistance organization, shared stories of those whose lives have been changed for the better because of the assistance of the Center.
In 2018, the center helped over 3,900 victims of crime in Greene County. Over 2,600 people were helped by the Victim Center’s 24 hour crisis line. They were also able to talk to over 15,000 elementary school students about talking to a respected adult if they were facing abuse.
Here are some sights of the morning.
