Two Central High School juniors have obtained a rare feat: a perfect score on their ACT exam.
Lauren Raatz and Jacob Sharp will be honored by the Springfield School Board at their April 23rd meeting for their accomplishment.
“It is really exciting to have a perfect score because I know it will open a lot of doors and it also reflects both the work that I put into school and the excellence of Central High School,” Raatz told OI. “I was really shocked when I found it out. Since it was my first time taking it, I didn’t have any past tests to compare to.”
Raatz is a member of the school’s chamber choir, FCA, Key Club, French honors society and is a poetry aficionado.
Sharp is a percussionist with the Central band and is part of the math team, Science Olympiad, and the student council.
