Two Ozark High School juniors will be representing the state of Missouri in a national FCCLA competition in California this summer.
Meagan Smith and Eliza McComas earned gold at the Missouri FCCLA State Leadership Conference this week in Interior Design.
The duo designed a resort hotel that would be targeted to millennials. The students designed the look of the rooms, but also the lounge area and the overall branding for the hotel.
The students are part of a Level 2 Interior Design class under the teaching of Lexy McNew.
Several Ozark Junior High FCCLA students also competed in the conference. Hannah Jones, Kenzie Raby and Kadence Kirkland all won silver awards in their respective competitions.
