Springfield’s March Sales Tax revenue were up 2.47% compared to March 2018.
The check from the Missouri Department of Revenue was $4,358,613, an increase of $104,927 over the check from March 2018.
For the year-to-date, the city’s sales tax revenues are up 2.73%, around $938,000, over 2018.
The March check represents sales processed in February by the state for sales that were made in January. Approximately 56% of Springfield’s revenue comes from sales and use tax.
