The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is returning to Live PD and a public event celebrating the department’s connection to the show is drawing thousands of people.
Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott told the Greene County Commission on Thursday that over 4,000 people have reserved a spot to attend the free event on Saturday March 30th at the OzAir Charter hangar located at the old Springfield-Branson airport location.
“Fortunately we’ll have a lot of food trucks,” Arnott joked with OI after the commission briefing.
The event will feature a number of law enforcement officers from Live PD along with other celebrities.
According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, special guests will include:

Trooper Moreno – Utah Highway Patrol
MSD Baker – Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office
Officer Juan Mercado & John Oliva – Mission Police Dept Texas
Chad Ayers – former Greenville County Sheriff’s Office
Muse Watson – Actor
Jonathan Gilliam – Navy Seal, FBI Special Agent, US Marshall
A raffle will also be taking place for a scooter with all proceeds to benefit the Sheriff’s Posse of Greene County.
Members of the Greene County Sheriff’s Office will be in attendance with some of the K-9 officers.
