A woman convicted on two counts of statutory rape has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Donna Conway, 42, was convicted in November 2018 of two counts of statutory rape on a 14-year-old who had been previously a victim of sexual abuse. The abuse took place in 2012.
Prosecutors asked for 15 years in prison, Conway’s public defender asked for probation. Judge David Jones sentenced Conway to 12 years in prison with credit for the two years already served in the Greene County Jail.
The judge had the option on each of the first-degree statutory rape convictions of 5 years to life in prison.
