Wonders of Wildlife Adds New Animals; Offers Deal to Local Residents

Wonders of Wildlife announced the addition of new animals to their exhibits.

For the first time, primates are being added to the exhibits. Marmoset monkeys, native to Brazil and parts of the Amazon rainforest, are now calling Wonders of Wildlife home. Marmosets are highly active during the day.

Staff believe that a new addition is bound to be a fan favorite. A two-toed sloth is now part of the exhibit, hanging from tree branches. Also in the trees will be a blue-and-gold macaw.

The museum is inviting local residents to come to see the new exhibits with a half price ticket offer through the end of March. Their “Just For Neighbors” deal applies to the following counties:

  • Missouri – Barry, Barton, Bates, Benton, Camden, Cass, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Dent, Douglas, Greene, Henry, Hickory, Howell, Jasper, Johnson, Laclede, Lawrence, Maries, McDonald, Miller, Morgan, Newton, Oregon, Ozark, Pettis, Phelps, Polk, Pulaski, Shannon, St. Clair, Stone, Taney, Texas, Vernon, Webster or Wright counties 
  • Arkansas – Baxter, Benton, Boone, Carroll, Fulton, Izard, Madison, Marion, Newton, Searcy, Stone or Washington counties
  • Kansas – Allen, Anderson, Bourbon, Cherokee, Crawford, Labette, Linn, Miami or Neosho counties 
  • Oklahoma – Craig, Delaware or Ottawa counties
