Springfield Remanufacturing Corporation, also called SRC Heavy Duty, held a celebration marking the passing of $100 million in sales in 2018.
The $100 million mark was a goal set as part of the company’s three year plan initiated in 2016.
“I am so proud of this group of people. They prove every day how powerful a team of owners can be,” Chad Myers, General Manager of Springfield Remanufacturing Corp., stated in a press release. “In February 2016, we put together a three-year plan to hit $100 million in revenue. By believing in ourselves and having a clear vision, this plan was accelerated by a full year ahead of projection.”
The company also created 175 new jobs during the year bringing their employment to 400 people. The growth of the workforce is driving a planned 80,000 square foot expansion at their facility on North Broadview Place near the Springfield-Branson National Airport.
SRC Heavy Duty was founded in 1983 and is a subsidiary of SRC Holdings Corp, headed by President and CEO Jack Stack. The company’s operations are split among three facilities, two in West Springfield and one in the Partnership Industrial Park in East Springfield.
