Two Greene County employees have been honored as the January 2019 Top Branch award winners.
Cheryl Puzach works in the Greene County Juvenile Office. She earned the Top Branch award for her leadership and teamwork abilities. Puzach routinely spends extra effort helping new officers learning how to work with the office and is a source of guidance for the staff.
Cheryl was described by co-workers as “a helping hand and reliable employee that everyone can count on.”
Dan Zacek-Smith is Greene County’s Domestic Violence Detective in the Family Justice Center. Detective Smith was praised for his efforts to make victims of domestic violence feel safe and taking the necessary time to help victims feel comfortable with the process. He also was praised for his handling of walk-in reports and guiding victims to where they needed to go to get the help they needed in the moment.
