Marshfield police say they have found the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run on a pregnant woman on New Year’s Eve morning.
Police Chief Doug Fannen said an officer noticed a vehicle matching debris found at the scene of the accident and confirmed that damage on that vehicle was a match to the found debris. The vehicle was towed to the police station.
Chief Fannen said officers are in the process of tracking down and arresting the suspect.
The victim, 19, was found in a ditch after being struck while walking to work on Church Street and thrown about 60 feet. The injuries were reportedly not life-threatening to her or the baby.
