A Branson man is behind bars, charged with crimes related to the distribution of fentanyl that contributed to one overdose death.
Ryan Brynell, 31, is facing a charge of attempted possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
Investigators say that they have found a connection through text messages between Brynall and Jeffrey Baker, who died from a fentanyl overdose. Court records also say that two people who survived overdoses identified Brynell as their drug dealer.
Brynell was taken into custody on December 18th after he was followed by investigators to St. Louis and back. He was found with 2 ounces of a substance that Brynell claimed was heroin or fentanyl.
