Parkview basketball star Tyem Freeman is out for the season with a torn ACL and partially torn meniscus.

Freeman reportedly suffered the injury during Thursday night’s game with Ozark after landing from a layup.

Freeman, who is committed to play for Missouri State next year, was among the state leaders in points per game and a dominant force on the Parkview Vikings team.

Recovery from ACL surgery usually takes 6-9 months making it a possibility that Freeman will redshirt his first year at Missouri State.
