CFO Diversity and Inclusion Grants Announced

A series of grants from Community Foundation of the Ozarks aimed at “diversity and inclusion” have been announced with $60,000 given to local organizations.

Here is the list of recipients:

  • $14,999 to Drury University & Grupo Latinoamericano
  • $4,334 to FosterAdopt Connect and Fresh Start Furnishings
  • $10,000 to Friends of Timmons Temple, Springfield-Greene County Park Board, NAACP and other partners
  • $11,500 to The GLO Center, PROMO, Springfield Black Time and Commercial Street Community Improvement District
  • $7,500 to Missouri State University and Facing Racism
  • $11,667 to Missouri State University and Springfield-Greene County African American Heritage Trail

The Community Foundation of the Ozarks is a 501(c)3 non-profit group founded in 1973.  It now includes about 3,100 charitable funds with assets of $283 million (as of June 2018.)
